The Rotary Club of Perth are having a fund raising event in August. Some of our customers have already donated some hand made cards to Jean Batchelor that will be for sale during this event. If any of you have any surplus cards in your box and would be happy to let them be sold for charity, then please drop them into the shop. We will then pass them on to Jean who will give them to the Rotary Club. They shoud have an insert in and come with an envelope.
The Rotary Club does alot of work with local charities, so any proceeds will be put to good use. We already raised over £500 earlier this year thanks to many of our customers donating rubber stamps they no longer wanted to keep. 
We are having an open day on Saturday 29th May. Siobhan will be demonstration some great techniques using some of the new Hero Arts silhouette flower stamps. These versatile stamps lend themselves to a variety of techniques which will make your cards stand out from the crowd.
The techniques include Brushless Watercolour, Embossed Layered Resist, Painting with Powders, “Kiss Stamping” and Water Stamping.
Pop in any time between 10am and 4pm. As usual it will be open house so you can help yourselves to tea, coffee and biscuits.
We have just had a delivery of new Magnolia Stamps from the Fairytales 2010 Pirates and Princesses collection. There are some lovely ones. I can feel a new display board coming on!! I particularly like the pirate collection. We also have more of the current Magnolia Ink magazine. Our first delivery sold out very quickly. So if you still haven’t picked one up yet, now is your chance. Well worth every penny at £6.99.
The list is ready and will be in the shop tomorrow, Thurday 29th April. I hope to also have it on the website later tonight or tomorrow. As already mentioned the booking day will be from Saturday 8th May. Apologies for being late. It’s been a combination of being short staffed and I have been ill over the weekend. However I am back on track now and ready to go!!!
